I have recommended and passed "Love the One You're With" on to countless friends. Emily Giffin accurately tells the story of Ellen, happy in her new marriage, yet violently upturned when her long lost love returns. As always, Giffin's characters are relatable and lovable. All at once I felt bad for Ellen, yet hated and envied her seemingly unnecessary discontent. Readers will finish this book feeling great, happy with the realization Ellen comes to. This novel will probably be more loved by a younger audience, yet appreciated by all. I have made many friends, fresh out of a heartbreaking relationship, read Emily Giffin as a part of recovery. Love the One You're With will leave readers understanding the reality of love and what's its all about.Back.
