You will laugh and cry as you follow this engaging story of a dysfunctional family grieving the loss of their father. A candid portrayal of a family and the unconditional love they have for each other, it is both witty and sad, and a pleasure to read. The author takes you on Judd Foxmans journey of self-discovery as he wrestles with his pending divorce and death of his father. I adore a book that makes you think, evaluate, and feel; this book does exactly that. The Foxman family is forced to face many situations from their past and a few recent discoveries, as they gather to sit shiva for their father. This honest and touching glimpse of a family in pain as it comes to gather for support is something everyone can relate to. Excellent writing, great characters, and interesting family dynamics will provoke discussion and make this a great book club choice.Back.
