Never Look Away

Shortly after the book opens, it grabs you. The plot moves quickly, in all directions, and with lots of twists you just don’t see coming. It centers on David, a simple man who loves his wife and son. His life is simple too - until one day a family outing turns into his worse nightmare. Barclay does an outstanding job of building tension and creating a great puzzle for the reader to figure out. I thought it fantastic the way this author took ordinary events and people, and weaved them together with believable dangers to create a suspenseful page-turner. This is a thriller with a complex plot and real characters that are easy to identify with. At times it felt eerily like something I could read about in a local paper or hear on the evening news. In summary – an excellent psychological thriller, with action, timing and suspense. Recommend for those who enjoy this genre of book.Back.
