I Am Malala

To read her story is to be a witness, however remote, to the evil that plagues certain parts of the world and to the fear that ignites in people, the need to suppress others. Courage is fleeting and hard to measure. The same goes for passion. Malala Yousafzai, from a young age, was palpably passionate about education for girls and had the courage to speak up. Her name is now synonymous with educational injustice. Many have seen her on TV or heard of; don’t let this stop you from reading this book. She is a remarkable young woman - whose voice deserves to be heard. When the Taliban shot her in the head- she lived and so too must her message. Her cause is worthy; she is an inspiration for all.Back.
