The Winter Solstice

Iíve read several of Elin Hilderbrandís books. I love her clean writing style and her incredible talent for creating atmosphere. In WINTER SOLSTICE, her descriptions of Nantucket, make you feel like youíve lived there your entire life. The same holds true for the Quinn family, she pulls you into their lives so they feel like old friends, the kind that stop by unannounced if they happen to be in your neighborhood. This book is the last in Hilderbrandís winter series. Itís delightful and engaging; a story of family, loss and moving on after lifeís trials. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, even though I did not read the others in the series. However, the purist may want to read them in order. I will definitely be backtracking and reading the others in this series.Back.
