The Last Mrs. Parrish
by Liv Constantine

PBR Review What a gem this book is. Right from the start, I found it entertaining and original. Itís a story of love and betrayal with a unique, intriguing plot. There are three main characters. Amber is young, greedy, and jealous. She also has no conscience and no moral compass. Then thereís Daphne and Jackson Parrish, very rich; private jet, opulent home on Long Island and designer clothing rich. Amber want this life, and she feels entitled to it. So she plots and schemes and manipulates her way into Daphne and Jackson's lives. Her goal? To marry Jackson Parrish and have it all. This book has a few not so obvious twists and turns and is quite addictive; you wonít want to put it down. Recommend.Back.
Talking Points: There is a lot of deception and unbelievable conniving in this book. And some of the characters are guilty of bad behavior and bad decisions. It looks in some detail at the extravagant lifestyle of the rich. And there are a few personality disorders that defiantly are discussion worthy. Marriage, raising children, trust and friendship are also issues in this book.
PBR Reader Comments:
I loved the premise of this book. One woman decides she wants another womanís husband He is obscenely rich and she canít see any other way to get the lifestyle she deserves. But, all is not as it seems. This twisty story will keep you guessing and turning the pages.
