Book Review by - linda
A very involved and well-plotted book that I thoroughly enjoyed. The story is unusual and told from several perspectives with lots of twists, turns and surprises that you never see coming. The writing is excellent, but where Hill really excels is his ability to put the reader right into the mind of the main character, Wolf Hadda. And yet because Wolf is such a complex character, the reader never knows what he’s going to do next. Wolf seeks revenge with very unconventional methods and a manner befitting a gentleman, which puts a modern spin on things. In summary, this is a top-notch psychological thriller that is amazingly intricate. Winner of the Barry Award for best British crime novel.Back.
