Book Review by - Linda
I’ve read several of Elin Hilderbrand’s books. I love her clean writing style and her incredible talent for creating atmosphere. In WINTER SOLSTICE, her descriptions of Nantucket, make you feel like you’ve lived there your entire life. The same holds true for the Quinn family, she pulls you into their lives so they feel like old friends, the kind that stop by unannounced if they happen to be in your neighborhood. This book is the last in Hilderbrand’s winter series. It’s delightful and engaging; a story of family, loss and moving on after life’s trials. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, even though I did not read the others in the series. However, the purist may want to read them in order. I will definitely be backtracking and reading the others in this series.Back.
