Dear Edward is a beautiful story of grief and family. A 12-year-old boy named Edward unexpectedly finds himself the sole survivor of a plane crash that has killed his entire family.

The author artfully uses dual timelines, one on the flight and the other after the plane crash. She describes how Edward navigates his life in the aftermath of this tragedy, capturing his grief, resilience, and compassion for others. This story is heartbreaking but also one of hope.

The novel is a powerful reminder that one person's experience can hold profound meaning for many people. The book has much to unpack and would make an excellent Book Club choice.
