Book lovers take note; at the heart of this imaginative mystery is a bookstore, so enjoyment is guaranteed and quick in this entertaining tale. The clever use of books will amaze and surprise you. They are props providing clues to the murder and also used to give insight to the characters personalities and convictions.
Speaking of characters, I have to say, nicely done Matthew Sullivan. All are enjoyable, and each is unique. Not a book aficionado? Not to worry, this multilayered, complex mystery will still keep you turning the pages. There's family drama, psychological suspense, a 20 year old mystery to solve and a suspicious suicide. Recommend.
