| PBR Review: (by- Linda - June 2019) THE BRIDE TEST is a love story between a young man who has autism and a young woman who comes from extreme poverty. Reading this story helped me understand that being different didn't mean you couldn't find love. It also made me realize that the background you come from seriously influences the choices you make in life. The plot was very entertaining, but for me, not very believable. I struggled with the concept that a young woman would fly to a foreign country, to seduce a man , who is a total stranger to her, so she can provide a better life for her herself and her young daughter. However, I still thoroughly enjoyed the book and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a light fun read. It's smartly written and has quirky but believable characters. |
