Funny Story is my favorite Emily Henry book to date. It's a fun, easy read with some emotional depth and loveable characters. The forced proximity troupe is perfect. Daphne's finance' ends their engagement when he professes his love for another. Understandably, she is crushed and now needs a new plan to stay in town for the latest job she desperately wants. Without friends or family nearby, she moves in with her finance's new girlfriend's ex. Things heat up! This wonderful romance is charming, funny, and heartfelt. If you enjoy rooting for the underdog, you'll enjoy cheering Daphne on as she rebuilds her life and navigates a new love. Don't miss this one. |
