I grabbed this book because of the great reviews it was getting. And although it took a while, once it pulled me in, I was hooked. It's a story that has plenty going for it; like lots of atmosphere, a clever plot and some surprising twists.
The two main characters, Kit, and Laura have a passion for chasing eclipses. At one of their eclipse festivals, Laura witnesses an attack. Wanting to help and do the right thing, she calls the police, a small Good Samaritan act that changes both of their lives forever. The book also has a unique format. It's centered around the different phases of a total eclipse, with each phase driving the plot forward. One thing is for sure, the final reveal is good!
