Book Review

(by- Linda )

Clever and haunting, this layered and complex psychological thriller is a must-read. The characters are excellent, have depth and personality, and the plot has some fabulous twists, some you don't see coming. So, once you start reading, it's hard to put down.

Kit is a nosy maid who unexpectedly gets a chance to right a wrong from the past. But she's also a character you will not easily forget. I loved her voice and inner dialog and was rooting for her the entire time. In fact, all the characters are well-developed and add dimension and interest to the story, and I loved reading about the rich and powerful.

This was an Amazon Prime First reads book. I've never taken advantage of this benefit before, but this was such a captivating read that I anxiously await their new monthly picks. I will also be seeking out more from Loreth Ann White. Highly recommend.
