My Lovely Wife
by Samantha Downing
PBR Review: (by- Linda - June 2019)

I loved this book. And since this is a new author, I had no idea what to expect. But I was hooked very early into the story. It's a puzzle because you keep wondering if this couple with a penchant for murder will get away with it, but there's also a lot of tension as bits and pieces of each character are revealed, and information about their victims surface.

And while all this is happening, in the background, the husband tells the beautiful love story of how he met, fell in love with and married his "lovely" wife. The book is smartly plotted and intense. On the surface, this couple looks normal, and the husband is very likeable as he tells his story. The result is a deeply disturbing, hard to put down book.
