Book Review

(by- Linda )

This book is the perfect light read for the beach or vacation and an excellent friends-to-lovers romance. The story follows Alex and Poppy; they were best friends who always went on summer vacation together but seemed to have fallen off the last few years. So, to rekindle the friendship, they embark on one last trip.

The author uses flashbacks to tell their backstory and interweaves this with the present day as they attempt to heal their relationship.

Aside from the fabulous banter, the characters are what you will remember about this book. Alex is very lovable, kind, big-hearted, and conservative. You can't help but love him. Poppy is wild and free; she loves to travel. And then there is also the beautiful chemistry between them - heartwarming to read.

If you love Rom-coms, don't miss this one. You may also enjoy it if you've read more intense books lately and need a break or are looking for an audiobook for a road trip.
