This book takes you to a wild and beautiful place, making you feel deeply. It's a story set on a remote island where a family struggles to survive as the outside world changes. Then, to complicate matters, during an enormous storm, a woman named Rowen washes up on shore, and everything shifts as the family nurses her back to health. As the family and Rowan get to know each other, bonds form, but there are also many questions about this mysterious woman and how and why she ended up on the ship that was torn apart and washed ashore. This book combines suspense with themes like grief and human resilience. The writing is beautiful and engaging, leaving a lasting impression even after the reader finishes it. It's an excellent read for anyone who enjoys literary fiction with a hint of mystery. |
