Review

I couldn't put this book down, which is surprising because it was over 500 pages long, and I read it over the weekend. It's one of the best books I've read in a long time. I loved it! The story begins with Patch and Saint, who are the best of friends, inseparable.

One day, Patch sees a local girl getting abducted, intervenes, and ends up getting abducted himself, saving the girl. This pivotal moment in the book changes Patches' life, and many people connected to the event. The novel explores grief, guilt, and the enduring power of love and friendship.

The twists kept me turning the pages late into the night. And yes, I had a book hangover! It's beautifully written with unforgettable characters. It's thought-provoking and heart-wrenching. I can't recommend it enough. This book has so much to discuss; it would make an excellent book club book.
