Book Review

(by- Linda )

What stood out about "Ask for Andrea" was its reflection of universal female experiences- those uncomfortable moments on dates or the unease of walking or driving alone at night. The author skillfully captures the nuances of these common fears, bringing them to life uniquely and poignantly.

One aspect of the book that felt especially real is how James conceals his monstrous nature behind charm and normalcy. He blends in perfectly, being polite and seemingly harmless, showing how predators use manipulation and trust rather than brute force.

I also love stories about female bonding and am always drawn into a story when the connection among the women is strong and genuine. In this tale, I appreciated how it highlights our innate instinct to support one another, especially when the world feels unsafe. It also makes me contemplate what a better society might look like, where we wouldn't need to rely as heavily on this kind of support network. Stories like this are both essential and inspiring.
