Book Review

(by- Linda )

This is an engaging family saga and a story that highlights the strength of family bonds. It focuses on the characters and dives into complex family and cultural issues.

It's a book about family and follows the story of Ruthie, a four-year-old Indigenous girl who goes missing one summer. I felt a lot of emotions watching her family deal with their grief while they searched for their daughter and the truth.

It's also the story of Joe, Ruthie's brother, who feels responsible and has not been the same since the day she disappeared - again, watching him will stir up a lot of emotion.

This would be a great book for anyone who enjoys a quiet book but also one that is powerful and moving.
