Book Review

(by- Linda )

I love Diane Chamberlain's books. And this story of second chances and finding oneself is perfect for fans of historical fiction and character-driven plots (like me).

But this book isn't only historical fiction; there's a little mystery to puzzle out too. It covers two artists, Morgan and Anna. Morgan is in prison but innocent. One day she is given a chance for immediate release from prison if she agrees to restore a large mural hidden away for decades. The artist of this mural is Anna. As the plot moves forward, the questions mount. Why is Morgan chosen for this task, who is this artist, and why is the mural hidden away? There's also the mystery surrounding Morgan's innocence. How did this came to be, and will she finally have closure?

Not only did this story make me think, but it was also compelling and hard to put down. Recommend..
