PBR Review: (by- Andrea)
Every Summer After by Carley Fortune is a beautiful coming-of-age story of two childhood friends, Sam and Percy. It's romantic and emotional and is an excellent beach read. The story follows two friends over six summers at a lake community in upstate NY. It has an idyllic small-town setting where the two friends work and play together, enjoying the relaxing summer vibe of the town. But soon, they fall in love, and things begin to change as they contemplate their futures. Then one mistake changes everything, and they lose contact for years. But this is a story of second chances and they will meet again. It's a heartwarming read and will have you reminiscing about your first love. |
