The Girl on the Train

by Paula Hawkins
A gripping psychological thriller proclaimed to be the next GONE GIRL - Girl on the Train By Paula Hawkins

Book Review

(by- Andrea )

Don't miss this one! THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN, a debut novel by Paula Hawkins, is fascinating. This mystery has three different narrators with distinct and clear voices. The story revolves around secrets, alcohol, cheating and lying. You're not sure who to trust or who to believe, but you will keep turning the pages. It's entertaining, and I couldn't put it down.

This book leans toward the dark side. And the characters face difficult situations like alcoholism and infidelity to name a few. But they are well written and believable - struggling with current issues in today's society. Hawkins cleverly reveals the timeline of a murder mystery. It was a little slow at the beginning but stay with it. It picks up speed and Hawkins delivers a dark and haunting tale. It would make a terrific Book Club book.
