Book Review

(by- Linda )

If you want to explore a book that will make you think about and value democracy - give this one a try. This book is based on a real mother-daughter spy team, Veronica and Violet (Vi for short). They take many personal risks and face many challenges to help protect democracy. And they do it for a sense of purpose and because it's the right thing to do.

I liked that this is a women's book - featuring two strong, determined, and likable females who go the extra mile when they feel authorities are ignoring the obvious. They become spies and work undercover to help infiltrate and thwart the activities of a Nazi community.

The story is intriguing and inspiring, forcing me to reflect on what I would do in similar circumstances.
