Book Review

(by- Linda )

I enjoyed this book. It's intense and charged with emotion, and it's also a beautifully written mystery. Inti is a wildlife biologist with a rare neurological disorder; she feels what others around her feel. So if she sees someone stabbed or shot, she feels the pain. I've never heard of this condition and so found it fascinating to read and think about.

Inti is leading a team trying to reintroduce gray wolves back into the Scottish Highlands. Her passion for nature sheds light on how man impacts the environment, and it's not in a good way. This is a hot topic right now.

But, the story is more complex than this; it's also a story about violence against women, toxic relationships, and finding oneself.
