Sally Hepworth has written an incredible story with multiple themes that would make a fantastic movie, including family drama, infidelity, secrets, mental health issues, and lies.
It's told from two perspectives - Pippa and Amanda, and the author skillfully blends their stories and those of their spouses together - it is seamless.
There is a lot I liked about this book - it had a nice, fast pace and definitely managed to hold my interest all the way. I listened to the audiobook version, and the person narrating it was captivating. I also always find it immensely entertaining to read about flawed characters. Sally Hepworth also keeps you guessing with many unexpected twists.
This is an excellent book for anyone who likes domestic suspense and family drama. However, if you are looking for a psychological thriller- you may find it lacking.
