The Twelve Lives of Samuel Hawley

by Hannah Tinti
An unconventional lifestyle -a father with a criminal past who wants the best for his daughter - The Twelve Lives of Samuel Hawley by Hannah Tinti

Book Review

(by- Linda )

A gritty, poignant father daughter story that will touch your heart. He's a criminal and wants to pass on the tools of his trade to his young, impressionable and willing daughter. Their life together is not conventional by any standard, He is seriously flawed and lives the life of a vagabond during Loo's early years, exposing her to guns and the ways of the street.

My life couldn't be more different from Samuels' yet I easily identified with him and couldn't get enough of this gruff, bullet scarred man and the deep love he had for his daughter. The author has a unique approach to unveiling Samuel's past; she tells the story of each bullet that has scarred him
