I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book! It was wonderfully written, with a captivating setting,
witchcraft, and three strong female characters who show incredible resilience as they learn to survive in a man's world.
Kate is currently hiding in her great-aunt's house to escape her abusive husband.
Violet, in 1925, faces pressure from her father to conform to societal norms and abandon her dreams of studying.
And in the 1600s, Althea is tried for witchcraft.
Even though they lived in very different eras, each had challenges to overcome. I thought the way everything came together was cleverly plotted, with the various stories all interconnecting. In the end, this is a book about the power of women. It's a great book for fans of historical fiction, witchcraft, and those who love reading about strong females.
