PBR Review: (by- Linda )
IThe Whittiers looks into the dynamics of a large family in crisis. Six siblings are facing the sudden death of their parents. One thing that really impressed me was the remarkable character development. I loved each of them and how they interacted; they were respectful and warmhearted, not quarrelsome. They tried to be understanding and meet each other's needs. So, as devasting as the tragic loss was, they supported each other and worked toward healing and settling their parents' estate. Of course, they were not your average family; they owned a mansion in Manhattan and went on annual ski trips to Europe, etc. So, while this may not be realistic for everyone, it's a nice break from reality; it's uplifting to watch a family grow and lovingly support each other. |
