PBR Review: (by- Linda )
I love time travel books, so I didn't think twice when this one popped up as a Book of the Month Club selection. It's a story of second chances and a mother's love for her child with an original and captivating concept, basically solving a murder in reverse. A mother sees her teenage son murder someone. The next day when she wakes, she realizes it is yesterday. Each day is the same - she travels back in time, trying to discover why her son killed a man. There are a lot of pieces to the puzzle, and the book churns up a lot of emotions. I really liked how complex and layered the story was, and I loved Jen's relationship with her son. This is a compelling, clever, nicely paced story. |
