Book Review

(by- Linda )

This book is good. It's mostly sad, but also eyeopening as it looks at the criminal justice system in this country, and what happens when someone is wrongly accused and convicted of a serious crime. It also examines marriage and relationships and explores human nature in the face of adversity and a marriage in crisis.

Roy and Celestial are newlyweds happily getting used to their new life and each other. They are successful and accomplished. Then Roy is sent to jail for 12 years for a crime he did not commit. This book delves into the consequences to all involved. It's well written and engaging and will make you think about love marriage and injustice. Recommend.
