PBR Review: (by- Linda - June 2019)
Reading this story, I felt like I was getting a little slice of Southern life. It's set in Sullivan's Island, SC and is about three women; two sisters and their mother as each navigates a challenge or two. There are lots of good things to say about this book. For one, I loved how authentic (and Southern) the characters were. I also loved that they evolved and seemed to be struggling with real issues, the kind any family of today may face. It's also a story about friendship, family, and finding not just love, but what makes you happy in life.
This is my first Dorthea Benton Frank book (though not my last). A fun, engaging story that is perfect for summer.
