I know it sounds ordinary, something the book is not, but I liked this book. I ended up reading it almost non-stop. Alicia intrigued me to no end - not so much that she killed her husband- I understand the rage part. I wanted to know what sparked her fury and especially why she goes mute, refusing to utter a single word - for years. Theo, Alicia's psychotherapist and the narrator of the book, is also an interesting character. The author puts you right into his head; you can feel his obsession with Alicia's case. So, of course, you are always questioning why?
And finally, the ending. Wow, it's good!
I look forward to more from Alex Michaelides. Recommend
