Small Bites To Jazz Up Your Book Club Meeting

Sharing is caring!

If I want to have a killer book club meeting, it only makes sense that since the main event is the book, picking something good is kind of a big deal. It seems easy enough, at least at first.

Google, one of the best and most versatile search engines, is open 24/7 and, according to most, has everything.  But despite its cult-like popularity, I probably don’t have to tell you that at the end of the day, Google can be overwhelming and not so helpful.

So, before you start the hunt, you may want to read How to Find Amazing Books That Will Energize Your Book Club, my earlier post on what makes a good book club book (with book suggestions of course).

If I’ve learned anything about people getting together, it’s that food always plays a staring role. I’m a self-proclaimed health nut, and at my best, I can resist a lot. That said, I have a soft spot for comfort foods – I’m pretty sure we all do.

And, when my favorite foods are bite-sized, I usually give in- I love that they are small, easy and sort of guilt-free. For this reason, I’m always on the lookout for delicious little bites of food to put in my recipe folder. Although it’s not written in stone anywhere, everyone needs some eye catching, easy to make party snacks.

Of course, I also have some fabulous suggestions for your book club. Each of the below books is sure to generate lots of discussions, stir up emotions and cause you to look within and question your beliefs.
