Summer is here, and it’s an excellent time to get outside and enjoy the outdoors!
One of my favorite things to do is listen to audiobooks as I go for a walk, relax at the beach or sit by the pool. I’ve also been known to listen to an audiobook while bike riding. That can be a little tricky because I don’t like to use headphones while riding, so I turn the volume up to its highest level.
Here are my top three Audio Books for summer listening so far!
The Light We Lost by Jill Santopolo
I couldn’t stop listening to THE LIGHT WE LOST on audio. I found myself looking for excuses to take the dog for a walk so that I could listen to one more chapter. This book is Jill Santopolo’s first adult novel, but she’s written several YA books. The story follows a decade-long relationship. Read more
The Life We Bury by Allen Eskens
Give this book a try if you want something well written with plenty of family dynamics and suspense, which I think is a great combination. I also loved that this was Allen Eskens’s debut novel. Read more
Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult
Jodi Picoult sends a powerful message with her latest book, Small Great Things. As usual, she writes about a current topic and challenges you to re-examine your beliefs. With well-developed characters and an excellent plot, she skillfully opens up an insightful conversation about racism. Read more
